COMEDK UGET Overview

COMEDK is the "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" - an autonomous merit determination authority consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers who have been associated with the educational eco system. This autonomous COMEDK was entrusted the responsibility to organize testing procedures to determine the merit of aspiring students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative procedure by KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation - Medial & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association).

COMEDK has been serving 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 150 Engineering Colleges. COMEDK since its inception in 2004-05 has been conducting the annual entrance exam for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the participating institutions and has also been organizing single window centralized counseling process over the last 15 years.

COMEDK has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year 2025-2026. COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system).

COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Date Out:

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, mostly known as COMEDK 2025 has released the date for the COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam, at its official website; comedk.org. The candidates who are eligible and interested in COMEDK 2025 Exams are supposed to keep track of the website for further information. The exam for COMEDK UGET 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2025 (Saturday). For any latest information and news, aspirants are expected to keep visiting the website on a regular basis.

COMEDK has been conducting its entrance test on the second Sunday of May every year. But because of conflict of date with other national level examination, the schedule had to be altered and UGET - 2025 will be conducted on Saturday the 10th May, 2025.

COMEDK with the responsibility of conducting the entrance examination and seat selection process based on a single common entrance test followed by centralized counselling to students seeking admissions in their member institutions so as to ensure fair and merit based admissions as envisaged in the judgement. The test will be Computer Based and will be conducted on All India basis across the Country to facilitate the students to appear in the test closer to their homes and is aimed at minimizing the cost of travel and other logistics.

COMEDK UGET EXAM 2025

The COMEDK UGET 2025 examination will be conducted on 10th May, 2025. Candidate can apply online for COMEDK UGET till 05 April, 2024. However, the exam results for the COMEDK UGET will be released in May, 2024. For the current academic year 2025-26, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Saturday, the 10th May, 2025, across 400 centres for Engineering Programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counseling.

Qualifying Examination of COMEDK UGET 2025

Candidates should have passed / appeared 10+2 from any state or cental Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Chemistry is a mandatory subject in case of applying for Bio Tech or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics

While Diploma holders will not considered for the exam. B.Arch Students are required to qualify for the NATA exam with a minimum cutoff.

COMEDK UGET Application Form 2025

COMEDK UGET 2025 Application Form will start from 03 February, 2025 from 2:00 PM and it will close its registration on 15 March, 2025. Candidates who are interested and eligible for the COMEDK UGET can register on the official website - comedk.org.

Candidates must submit the COMEDK UGET Application form 2025 before the deadline. The COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam will be conducted on 10th May, 2025.

COMEDK UGET Test Pattern

The COMEDK UGET Entrance test is conducted only for engineering programs after the government made the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) a mandatory exam for medical and dental courses in India. For current academic year 2025-26, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Saturaday, the 10th May, 2025, across 400 centres for Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counseling. The test pattern for the engineering program is given below.
