COMEDK UGET Exam Important Dates

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) 2026 released the COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam dates on February 3, 2026.

The online registration window for the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 commenced on February 3, 2026, and after multiple extensions, officially closed on March 23, 2026 (at 4:00 PM). Only eligible candidates who completed their 10+2 / Higher Secondary education with the required subject combinations were permitted to register.

The national-level entrance exam was administered across India in a single-day, online Computer-Based Test (CBT) format on May 9, 2026.

COMEDK continues to serve as the common evaluation and screening hub for members of the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA), which encompasses roughly 150 to 190 private engineering institutions across the state.

For the academic year 2026–27, the computer-based entrance test was carried out across more than 180 nationwide test cities to fill approximately 20,000 engineering seats. To maintain efficiency, safety, and strict transparency throughout the seat selection cycle, the upcoming allocation rounds will be conducted via the centralized online counselling portal.
