IBPS CWE Syllabus

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) organises entrance examination for personnel selection for various banks in India. IBPS conducts exams for different posts like Probationary Officer (PO), Clerk, Regional Rural Banks (RRB) and Specialist Officer (SO) for Officers Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant.

The syllabus for the exam is basically designed to judge the candidate's ability on 5 major sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Professional Knowledge (for SO), Computer Knowledge and English/Hindi language. IBPS PO 2020 Exam Syllabus is nothing different from the other bank exams which take place all over the country. The three major sections on which any one appearing for the examination needs to focus are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. Further, these three major groups are sub-divided into multiple smaller topics.

The common written examination (CWE) has a maximum of 5 papers depending on the post, which is designed according to the cadre. The common interview is followed by the CWE, for which the candidates can appear only if he/she qualifies in CWE.
