The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the examination form-filling and fee payment schedule for the Class 10 and Class 12 regular board examinations 2027.

The examinations are scheduled to be conducted in February-March 2027, and schools and educational institutions have been instructed to complete the required formalities within the deadlines prescribed by the board. PSEB published the examination form schedule on October 5, 2026 through its official portal.
The process is to be completed by the concerned schools and institutions through their respective login IDs. The schedule provides separate deadlines for regular fee submission as well as late-fee windows. Schools should ensure that all eligible students are included and that the examination forms and fees are submitted within the applicable period.
PSEB has provided multiple opportunities for institutions to complete the examination form process. The first window is available without any late fee, followed by four successive windows carrying additional late charges.
| Particular | Form/Challan Generation | Bank Payment Deadline | Online Form & Fee Submission | Late Fee |
| Without late fee | October 5-23, 2026 | October 29, 2026 | October 23, 2026 | NIL |
| With late fee | October 24-31, 2026 | November 6, 2026 | October 31, 2026 | ₹5000 |
| With late fee | November 1-10, 2026 | November 17, 2026 | November 10, 2026 | ₹1000 |
| With late fee | November 11-18, 2026 | November 25, 2026 | November 18, 2026 | ₹1500 |
| With late fee | November 19-26, 2026 | December 3, 2026 | November 26, 2026 | ₹2,000 |
The board has asked institutions to follow the schedule carefully and complete the online submission process within the relevant deadline. The official PSEB portal confirms that the examination-form schedule for the February/March 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 examinations was issued on October 5.
The examination fee for Class 10 students is ₹2,000, while Class 12 students have to pay ₹2,450. Students opting for an additional subject will have to pay ₹550 per additional subject.
The prescribed examination charges also include the cost of the hard copy and digitised soft copy, as specified by PSEB. Schools are responsible for collecting and depositing the applicable examination fees according to the board's schedule.
For the regular PSEB Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2027, the examination form process is being handled by the respective schools and educational institutions. School heads have been directed to ensure that every eligible student is included in the examination process.
Institutions should verify student information before completing the online submission. Details such as the student's name, subject combination, registration information and other examination particulars should be checked carefully to avoid problems at a later stage.
The board has also placed responsibility on school authorities for completing the process within the prescribed deadlines. Any delay or omission could lead to administrative action under the applicable rules.
Schools that do not complete the process during the regular period can use the additional late-fee windows. The first late-fee opportunity carries a ₹500 charge, followed by ₹1,000, ₹1,500 and ₹2,000 in successive windows.
Schools should note that the deadline for online form and fee submission is different from the last date for depositing the generated challan in the bank. Therefore, institutions should not wait until the bank-payment deadline to begin the online process.
For example, under the regular-fee window, online form and fee submission must be completed by October 23, although the generated challan amount can be deposited in the bank until October 29.
PSEB has emphasised the responsibility of school heads in ensuring timely completion of examination-related procedures. Institutions that fail to submit forms or fees within the prescribed schedule may face consequences under the board's applicable procedures and affiliation regulations.
For government schools, failure to complete the formalities within the stipulated period may result in the matter being referred to the concerned Directorate of Education. Depending on the institution and level, further action may be initiated against the principal or head teacher under the relevant rules.
Although students are not responsible for directly submitting the regular examination forms under this process, they should stay in contact with their schools. Students should provide the required information and documents to the institution well before the deadline.
It is also important for candidates to verify their subject choices, personal details and registration information before the school submits the form. Any error identified at this stage should be brought to the attention of the school authorities immediately.
Students should also retain copies of any acknowledgement or information provided by their school regarding the completion of the examination-form process.
The first and most important deadline is October 23, 2026, for online examination form and fee submission without late charges. Schools that miss this deadline can use the late-fee windows beginning October 24.
The final online form submission opportunity in the schedule is November 26, 2026, with a ₹2,000 late fee. The corresponding challan amount can be deposited in the bank until December 3, 2026.
The Punjab School Education Board has officially published the Class 10 and Class 12 examination-form schedule for the February/March 2027 regular examinations. The board's website currently lists the October 5 notification under its latest news and examination information.
The detailed PSEB Class 10 and Class 12 date sheet for the 2027 board examinations will be issued separately. Until then, schools and students should focus on completing the examination registration and fee formalities within the notified schedule.
Candidates should rely on the official PSEB website, pseb.ac.in, and their respective schools for further updates regarding the board examination timetable, admit cards, examination centres and other instructions.
