MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.

Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).

AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for the range of services under its scope.

AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.

MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad. 

MAT May 2025 Schedule Released

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA / PGDM Programs at over 800 B-Schools across India.

The MAT Exam is held in four phases each year - February, May, September and December.

AIMS has officially released the Schedule for the MAT May 2025 session, and the registration process is now open. Candidates who are interested can visit the official website - mat.aima.in to check important dates, application deadlines and admit cards details.

The MAT exam will be conducted in both offline (Paper-Based Test - PBT) and online (Computer-Based Test - CBT) formats. Candidates have the flexibility to appear for the test in multiple modes and attempts, as per their preference.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) - May Schedule 2025 Registation Started:

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT), conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened registrations for the May 2025 session. MAT is a widely recognised entrance exam for admission into management programs across India. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply online for the upcoming exam.

Management Aptitude Test, Popularly abbreviated as MAT has opened its portal for registration. The All India Managament Association has started its registration process for AIMA MAT May 2025 Session Exam dates are 31 May, 2025 (PBT) and 08 June, 2025 (CBT). Candidates who are interested and eligible; can register themselves for the upcoming examinations for the stream of Management.

MAT May 2025 Schedule - The Paper-Based Test (CBT) Registration started from 25 April to 25 May, 2025. The CBT Registrations will end on 25 May, 2025. PBT Admit Cards will be available on 28 May, 2025 and the test will be conducted on 31 May, 2025.

MAT Application Process 2025: How to Apply

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has started the registration process for the MAT May 2025 session. Candidates can choose to appear in either the Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT).

• PBT Registration Window : 25 April to 25 May, 2025.
• CBT Registration Window : 25 April to 02 June, 2025.

Candidates can access and submit the MAT 2025 Application Form through the official website - https://mat.aima.in. Here's a step-by-step guide to complete the application:

Step to Apply for MAT MAY 2025:

1. Visit the official website : https://mat.aima.in.

2. Register using your name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and password.

3. Choose your State / UT, preferred test city, and test mode.

4. Click on "Register".

5. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number to verify and activate your account.

6. Log in to complete the registration process.

7. Pay the application fee online.

8. Select your preferred exam mode and two test cities.

9. Fill in personal, educational and contact details.

10. Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the require format.

11. Choose up to five management institutes to receive your MAT Scores.

12. Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

Candidate can opt for an additional mode of test (PBT+CBT) by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1600/- in addition to Rs. 2200/-.

Candidates opting for additional test will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

MAT May 2025 Exam Pattern

The test is a 2 hours 30 minutes Computer-Based and Paper-Based Test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

MAT Exam Preparation 2025

Candidates must first pick when they wish to take the MAT exam in order to prepare for it. The May exam has the most applications because MBA admissions at major business schools take place from March to May. MAT September & December Scores will be accepted for admission in 2026.

MAT RESULTS 2025

All exam modalities' MAT results are made available on the same day. The MAT Scorecards are uploaded to the AIMA website's student dashboard, where applicants can log in and review them. The steps to download the MAT 2025 result cum scorecard are shown here.

• Select "Login for MAT".
• Enter your registration number and roll number.
• Select the "Submit" tab.
• Choose a month for the exam.
• Navigate to the "Download Scorecard" link.
• The scorecard for MAT 2025 will show up on the screen.
• Save it to your desktop after downloading.

Note : Applicants who have taken the MAT more than once may utilise their highest overall score to be admitted.The five institutions that candidates have specified on their MAT Application form receive the candidates' scores directly from AIMA.An applicant must complete out additional college application forms if they want to apply to more than one university.
