AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.

2. Register using your name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and password.
3. Choose your State / UT, preferred test city, and test mode.
4. Click on "Register".
5. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number to verify and activate your account.
6. Log in to complete the registration process.
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Select your preferred exam mode and two test cities.
9. Fill in personal, educational and contact details.
10. Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the require format.
11. Choose up to five management institutes to receive your MAT Scores.
12. Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

The test is a 2 hours 30 minutes Computer-Based and Paper-Based Test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject the specific cut-off marks and other admissions parameters.

Note : Applicants who have taken the MAT more than once may utilise their highest overall score to be admitted.The five institutions that candidates have specified on their MAT Application form receive the candidates' scores directly from AIMA.An applicant must complete out additional college application forms if they want to apply to more than one university.

Candidates who are interested can start registering on the official website. The MAT exam will be held on 07, 14 & 22 December, 2024.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) registration window for the Computer Based Test (CBT) 2 will conclude on 13 December, 2022.
