How to Apply For WBJEE

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the notification for the year 2025. WBJEE 2025 Exam will be conducted on 27 April, 2025 (Sunday). The WBJEE Online application process will start from 22 January, 2025 to 23 February, 2025. Candidates who are interested and eligible can start submitting the application on the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in.

WBJEE Application form 2025 Released

Interested candidates need to appear for WBJEE written examination, which will be conducted in offline mode. In order to appear for the WBJEE examination, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of WBJEE. One should also note that application for WBJEE has to be made through online only. 

WBJEE Registration 2025

Candidates need to enter registration details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number. We advise candidates should be careful while entering the registration details because the details cannot be changed/edited/modified under normal circumstances. 

Applicants should also note that details mentioned should match with the school admit cards, mark sheets, photo identity cards, certificates, caste/category certificates etc., which is required to enter the examination hall, during counselling, during admission and during registration with the university.

• Candidates should enter the contact details such as address, state, district, PIN, email ID, mobile number, etc. 
• After this step, a candidate has to choose a password and security question/answer
• At this stage, a candidate can review the registration details and make changes if necessary.
• The next step is submitting the registration details. 
• An application number will be generated and appear on the screen, once the details are submitted. A candidate will also receive an SMS/email. 
• We advise candidates to save their application number, password and security question/answer. If they lost the password, they should recover it through “Forgot Password” option. 
• The next step is to log out or continue to fill up the application form. 

WBJEE Application Form 2025

• At the WBJEE application, a candidate needs to fill up personal information such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, family income status, religion nationality, etc. 
• Candidates should also enter the JEE Main 2024 details such as JEE Main application number, if so. 
• The next step is to choose any three zones of examinations in order of his/her choice and submit the application. 
• A candidate may log out or continue to next step to upload images. 

Steps to Fill WBJEE 2025 Application Form

Go to wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website for the WBJEE Application Form 2025.

Select the link labelled "New Registration".

Enter Information such as name, date of birth, gender, parent's and mother's name, type of identification, and phone number.

Add further contact information (address, state, district, PIN, Email Address, mobile number, etc.)

With the response, create a password and security option.

After reviewing the information submitted during WBJEE Registration, Click "Submit".

Upon successfully registering for WBJEE 2024, Aspirants will receive an application number on their reigstered cellphone number and email address.

WBJEE Uploading Of Images 

Candidates are required to upload scanned images of their recent colour photograph and signature. The photograph and signature should be in the specified dimensions. In case they do not meet the specified requirement, WBJEE admit card will not be issued.

Hence, candidates are advised to check the dimensions of photograph and signature. 

WBJEE Application Fee 

After uploading the photograph and signature, candidates will be directed to the examination fee-payment step. Candidates have to pay INR 500 as WBJEE examination fee. The examination fees can be paid by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card only. Candidates will also be charged with the Bank’s Service Charges as applicable along with the examination fee. Under any circumstances, the examination fee will not be refundable.

WBJEE Confirmation 

After the successful payment of the WBJEE examination fee, candidates will be directed to the confirmation page. They have to note that the application is not complete until the confirmation page is generated. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the confirmation page and should preserve the same. 

WBJEE Correction Of Application Form 

Candidates cannot correct any primary registration data such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender and date of birth. If a candidate desire to correct any other information in the application form, he/she can do so using the correction window period. Candidates should note that the board will not make any correction on behalf of any candidate. Hence, candidates are advised to fill up the application details carefully and check the information thoroughly before submitting.
