How to Apply For GATE

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee has announced the GATE 2025 Exam Notification.

The IIT, Roorkee GATE 2025 Online Registration will start from 24 August, 2024 Onwards & the last date to registration will be 26 September, 2024 is the deadline for registering for GATE 2025 online without incurring late penalities. October 07, 2024 is the deadline for registering for GATE 2025 with late fees.  Candidates who are interested are advised to refer to the GATE Notification for more details before kcik-starting the online registration process.

Applying for GATE 2025 is required for candidates hoping to gain admission to prestigious Indian Universities like IITs, NITs, and IIITs, as well as high paying positions at prestigious PSUs like GAIL, SAIL, IOCL, and others. Through the GOAPS (GATE Online Application process system) 2025 site, qualified candidates may submit their applications. Before completing the GATE 2025 application form, candidates are required to review the eligibility requirements. The dates of GATE 2025 exams are set for February 01, 02, 15 & 16, 2024 at IIT Roorkee.

To be considered for admission to M.Tech Programs at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs or participating Institutes, candidates must first register by completing the GATE 2025 application form. Before submitting their application, candidates are required to review the GATE qualified criteria for 2025. Applicants for GATE 2025 must be enrolled in or in third year of a recognized university's graduating program in the relevant topic.

How To Apply?

1. Candidate have to register & fill the application form via online mode only at the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The link will be made available on GATE 2025 website from 24 August, 2024 Onwards.

2. The whole process of filling up of the application form & uploading of certificates / documents etc. will be in online mode only. Candidates should not send any hard copy of his / her application form / documents etc. to IISc or any of the zoanl GATE Offices.

3. Candidates should have to register by providing a valid email id, mobile number & by chossing a password.

4. Candidate has to choose three examination centres. The first centre is likely to be allotted a centre in the examination city of his / her first choice. Only in cases, where there are too many candidates opting for a certain city as their first choice, the other two choice become relevant.

5. Pay the application fee through Net-Banking or Bank Challan. Check the status of the application form

Note : The application fee mentioned BELOW DOES NOT INCLUDE Service charges, processing fees and any other charges that the banks may levy.

Note: The above application fees are for a single test paper. Candidates opting for two papers would have to pay twice the above mentioned fees.

How to Check GATE 2025 Application Status?

Candidates will need to use their login credentials to access the GATE 2025 Registration link to verify the progess of their applications. Those whose GATE Applications status is "Under Scrutiny/Under Process" don't need to worry. All GATE Application form 2025 are examined by the relevant authorities, and applicants whose applications require corrections in the form of a photo, signature, or supporting document are sent an email or SMS automatically.
