Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level examination for award of scholarship to qualified candidates seeking entry into Master of Pharmacy (M
Pharm) Course. The first GPAT was conducted in the year 2010 and thereafter it is conducted every year till 2018 by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per the directions of Ministry of Education, Government of India and from the year 2019, the examination is conducted rhrough the Natioanl Testing Agency (NTA) as per the directions of Ministry of Education, Government of India till 2023.
The Pharmacy Council of India has taken the initiative to conduct the GPAT and disbursement of scholarship honoring the Judgement of Hon'ble Supreme Court of Indiaof dated 05.03.2020 stating the "AICTE Act, governing the general technical education would be amended deleting 'Pharmacy' from its mandate and the pharmacy education would thereafter be governed by teh the Pharmacy Act, 1948". The Pharmacy Council of India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for conducting the GPAT.
The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2025 Exam has been officially announced. As per the notification, the GPAT 2025 exam will be conducted on 25 May, 2025 (Sunday) in a single session. The GPAT Exam is conducted annually by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on behalf on NTA and it serves as a gateway for admission into Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) across India. All AICTE Approved Institutions, University Departments, Constitutents, Colleges, and Affiliated Colleges shall accept the GPAT Exam results. Candidates who are appearing for the exam must be eligible to take the exam before the sumitting the application form or registration.

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2025 Notification has been officially released by the National Board of Examination (NBE).
Candidates who are interested and eligible can now apply online through the official website - natboard.edu.in. GPAT is national-level entrance exam conducted for admission into M.Pharm programs across AICTE / PCI-Approved Institution in India. Candidates can fill out the GPAT 2025 Application Form in ONLINE mode only. The GPAT 2025 Admit Card will be issued for the candidates who are successfully registered and candidates can download the GPAT Admit Card using their login credentials. The GPAT 2025 exam will be held on 25 May, 2025 in a single session.
Basically, GPAT is an Entrance test, being conducted for entry into the M.Pharma Programmes, at the national level. The Information Bulletin, which is available on the NTA website at https://gpat.nta.nic.in, contains details about eligibility requirements, exam structure, locations and dates, exam fees, and application procedures, among other things.
Only between the periods of 1.04.2025 and 21.04.2025, candidates who wish to apply for the exam may read the Information Bulletin, apply online at https://gpat.nta.nic.in/, and pay the necessary fees through the payment gateway using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI.

Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's Degree B.Pharmacy (10+2+4) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2025-26 can also apply for GPAT - 2025 Computer Based Test (CBT).
B.Tech (Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Technology) / Equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT - 2025.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released GPAT 2025 application form on 01 April, 2025 & it will conclude on 21 April, 2025.
Aspirants have to apply online for GPAT 2025 and no other modes are allowed. One should visit the official website to register for the GPAT 2025 examination. The below steps will help candidates to register for GPAT 2025 exam.
Candidates who have successfully submitted their payment for the application during Application Submission window shall only be allowed to edit their application during 25th to 28 April, 2025.
Deficiency related to images uploaded (Photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression), shall be intimated to the concerned candidates and same can be corrected duringthe Pre-Final Edit Window i.e. 02 May to 05 May, 2025. A list of such applicants who would fail to rectify their images in the Application form shall be published on NBEMS website and a Final Edit Window will be opened from 09 to 11 May, 2025 for them to enable them to rectify the images as per image upload the guidelines.

Candidates are provided with an option to choose the city for examination after submission of examination fees. The allotment of exam city will be based on first come-first serve. Candidates can check the availability of the seat before submitting the fees. They should note that NTA may change the chosen city and / or the allocated center for logistic and administrative reasons.
After the GPAT 2025 examination, NTA will display the answer keys and question paper attempted by the candidate on its official website. Candidates who are unsatisfied with the provisional answer keys displayed by NTA can challenge them. They should pay Rs.1000/- per question as the processing charge, which can be paid by credit/debit card/Net banking.
The GPAT result will be based on the final answer keys released by NTA. The Agency will not dispatch any score card to the candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to download the GPAT score card 2024 from the official website. There is no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the GPAT score.
.The National Testing Agency has released the exam city slip for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023 on 15 May, 2023. GPAT 2023 Exam will be conducted on 22 May, 2023. Candidates who have registered & eligible for the GPAT 2023 can download the city initmation slip from the official website - gpat.nta.nic.in.
National Testing Agency has opened the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023 Application Forms.
Candidates who are interested can start submitting the application from on the official website - gpat.nta.nic.in. The last date for applying for the GPAT 2023 is till 06 March, 2023 Upto 5:00 PM.
NTA (National Testing Agency) will announce the result for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, GPAT 2022 at gpat.nta.nic.in. The Pharmacy entrance exam was held on 09 April, 2022 in Computer Based Mode.
