What is GPAT Exam?

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is one of the entrance exams conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This national level entrance exam is conducted for admission to M.Pharm or its equivalent courses in various institutes spread across the country.

Till 2018, The Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test Since 2019.

This test facilities institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Masters (M.Pharma) Program. The GPAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test.

The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/ University Departments/ Constituent Colleges/ Affiliated Colleges. More than 800 participating institutes accept GPAT score. Aspirants are also provided with a few scholarships and other financial assistance on the basis of GPAT score. 

GPAT Exam Date 2023 Out:

The date for the GPAT 2023 Exam has been declared. It will take place on May 22, 2023. The NTA administers an exam to candidates seeking admission to the M.Pharma program in pharmacy. All AICTE Approved Institutions, University Departments, Constituents, Colleges, and Affiliated Colleges shall accept the GPAT exam results. Candidates must be eligible to take the exam and meet all conditions before they may show up for it. The aspirants are supposed to visit the website at regular intervals. The candidates who are interested and eligible should visit the official website; nta.ac.in.

GPAT Notification 2023 Released

The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)-2023 released the notification for interested and eligible candidates at its official website, gpat.nta.nic.in.

Basically, GPAT is an Entrance test, being conducted for entry into the M.Pharma Programmes, at the national level.
The Information Bulletin, which is available on the NTA website at https://gpat.nta.nic.in/, contains details about eligibility requirements, exam structure, locations and dates, exam fees, and application procedures, among other things.
Only between the periods of 13.02.2023 and 06.03.2023, candidates who wish to apply for the exam may read the Information Bulletin, apply online at https://gpat.nta.nic.in/, and pay the necessary fees through the payment gateway using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI.

For further information related to the examination, the interested and eligible candidates are requested to keep an eye on the official website of NTA GPAT.

GPAT 2023 Eligibility 

Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's Degree B.Pharmacy (10+2+4) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2023-24 can also apply for GPAT - 2023 Computer Based Test (CBT).

B.Tech (Pharmaceutical & Fine Chemical Technology) / Equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT - 2023.

GPAT 2023 Application Form 

Aspirants have to apply online for GPAT 2023 and no other modes are allowed. One should visit the official website to register for the GPAT 2023 examination. The below steps will help candidates to register for GPAT 2023 exam. 

  • Visit the official website
  • Fill in the online application form 
  • Note down the system generated Application Number
  • Upload the scanned images of the candidate's photograph and signature
  • Pay the prescribed application fee amount
  • Submit the GPAT Application Form and take a printout of the same for future reference.

GPAT Test Centre

Candidates are provided with an option to choose the city for examination after submission of examination fees. The allotment of exam city will be based on first come-first serve. Candidates can check the availability of the seat before submitting the fees. They should note that NTA may change the chosen city and / or the allocated center for logistic and administrative reasons.

GPAT Answer Key 2022

After the GPAT 2022 examination, NTA will display the answer keys and question paper attempted by the candidate on its official website. Candidates who are unsatisfied with the provisional answer keys displayed by NTA can challenge them. They should pay Rs.1000/- per question as the processing charge, which can be paid by credit/debit card/Net banking. 

GPAT Score 2022

The GPAT result will be based on the final answer keys released by NTA. The Agency will not dispatch any score card to the candidates.

Hence, candidates are advised to download the GPAT score card 2022 from the official website. There is no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the GPAT score. 

Notifications

GPAT 2023 Exam city slip released

The National Testing Agency has released the exam city slip for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023 on 15 May, 2023. GPAT 2023 Exam will be conducted on 22 May, 2023. Candidates who have registered & eligible for the GPAT 2023 can download the city initmation slip from the official website - gpat.nta.nic.in.

National Testing Agency has opened the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2023 Application Forms.

Candidates who are interested can start submitting the application from on the official website - gpat.nta.nic.in. The last date for applying for the GPAT 2023 is till 06 March, 2023 Upto 5:00 PM.

GPAT 2022 Results to be declared soon

NTA (National Testing Agency) will announce the result for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, GPAT 2022 at gpat.nta.nic.in. The Pharmacy entrance exam was held on 09 April, 2022 in Computer Based Mode.

Candidates who have appeared in the exam can be able to download their GPAT 2022 result cum scorecard through their application number & date of birth.

GPAT Result 2021 Declared

The NTA has released the GPAT result 2021 on March 19. Candidates who have appeared for the written examination held on February 27 can visit the official website to check their GPAT 2021 result.

Candidates should use their login credentials to check the GPAT result 2021. A total of 4447 qualified out of 45,504 candidates appeared for the MPharm entrance exam.

GPAT Final Answer Key 2021

The NTA has released the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) final Answer Key 2021. Candidates can download the answer key on the official website.

The Agency is likely to release the GPAt 2021 result on March 19. Candidates should use their login credentials to check the GPAT result 2021.
