What is COMEDK UGET Exam?

The COMEDK UGET (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is state level entrance exam conducted by the COMEDK to offer admission to eligible candidates in the various engineering courses.

The exam is conducted to determine the merit of students in an effective, fair and transparent testing procedure.

Presently 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 Engineering colleges, who make available almost 20000 seats, are affiliated to COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Programme during the academic year 2020.

Candidates who are interested and eligible for admission in undergraduate courses in private medical and dental colleges of Karnataka can apply for the COMEDKUGET.

The merit list of the exam will be published based on the score obtained by the candidate.

The COMEDK UGET test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year.


The COMEDK UGET examination will be conducted on August 19, 2020. Candidates can apply online for COMEDK UGET till May 31, 2020. However, the exam results for the COMEDK UGET will be released in September 2020.

COMEDK UGET Test Pattern

The COMEDK UGET Entrance test is conducted only for engineering programmes after the government made the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) as a mandatory exam for medical and dental courses in India.  The test pattern for engineering programme is given below.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Result For Third Round Released

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the third round of seat allotment result for Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) counselling 2020.

The UGET results have been declared for candidates in general merit on its official website 

The exam authority will release a separate merit list for bachelors in engineering (BTech) and bachelors in Architecture (BArch). One can complete the application process to their respective allotted colleges.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Seat Allotment Result Declared

The COMEDK has released the first round of seat allotment result 2020. One can check their COMEDK 1st round seat allotment result 2020 on the official website.

Candidates who have been allotted seats should confirm their choices and pay the counselling fees from November 30 to December 5, 2020. Earlier, the exam authority has released the COMEDK UGET result 2020 on September 3.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Answer Key Will Be Released On August 23

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is likely to release the answer keys of the preliminary entrance test on August 23. The exam authority will release the answer key of COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E on the official website of COMEDK - and Uni-Gauge --

Students who have appeared for the written examination of COMEDK can check the answer key and calculate their probable score. One should use their login details to such as application sequence numbers or user ids and passwords to download answer key.

COMEDK UGET 2020 To Be Held As Per Schedule: High Court

Karnataka High Court has revealed that it would not intervene with the conduct of the COMEDK UGET examination 2020. The sources suggest that the court has ordered the examination to be conducted as per the schedule on August 19, 2020. However, the organising authority to follow all the necessary precautions for safety of the students. 

Earlier, the petition was filed by Advocate Abdulla Mannan Khan, a Karnataka based lawyer on August 11. In the plea, he requested the organization to withhold the examination due to a spike in COVID cases in the state. 

The court mentioned that COMEDK exam can be conducted like the Karnataka SSLC Examinations and KCET examination in the state. COMEDK examination will be held in 342 centres and 30 states for 20,000 seats in 190 colleges.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Admit Card Released

The COMEDK UGET 2020 admit card released on the official site. exam. The exam will be held on August 19. The entrance exam is held for admission to undergraduate courses in around 190 engineering colleges.

The official notice reads, "For the current academic year 2020-21, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Saturday, the 19th August 2020, across 300 centers for Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counselling."

Candidates who have registered for COMEDK UGET 2020 can download the admit card until the exam date.
