The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to be conducted the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2020 computer-based test for admission to Management programmes approved by AICTE.
CMAT is the official entrance exam for admission into MBA management programmes in 12 states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Haryana and Karnataka. The state governments officially announced CMAT is their official test. In addition, many b-schools offering PGDM programmes will also be using CMAT scores.
The last days of preparation are the most important and play a significant role in boosting confidence. There is no exception for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The entrance examination consists of sections such as quantitative techniques & data interpretation, logical reasoning, general awareness and language comprehension. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. During the last phase of CMAT preparation, candidates need to focus on each and every section.
Get Ready For The Exam
During the last days, you shouldn't encourage exam stress over basics things such as exam pattern and type of questions. We suggest aspirants work on the previous years' question papers, which will help in getting familiar with the exam pattern besides weightage of the topics.
Aspirants need to solve 100 questions in 180 minutes, which means less than two minutes for each question. One should take advantage in the general awareness section (25 questions), which can be attempted in less than 10 minutes. The most important point aspirants have to remember is that CMAT is a test of skill and analysing. Hence, one can devote at least two minutes on each question.
Candidates might have covered the entire CMAT syllabus for the examination. Without an effective revision during the last days of CMAT preparation, one can't score well. It is suggested to recall all the strategies and revise the entire syllabus before the exam.
Keep Weakness At Bay
In order to score well in any examination, one should equally focus on their weaknesses as well. Identify the tough topics and try to devote more time to the revision.
Attempt Mock Test
Try to take at least one mock test daily during the last week. Taking mock tests will not only help in preparation but also boost your confidence.

Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
Questions in this section are single and not based on sets. The question which is selected from the topics for this section is like, Arithmetic operations, number properties, probability and counting principles with an odd question in geometry and derivatives. Question on data interpretation will require basic calculation skills.
This section contains topics from arrangements (liner, seating, sequencing & arranging with conditions) to coding. The other questions are based on statement conclusion, a logical puzzle, numerical puzzle, Venn Diagram, true or false statements, Visual reasoning, etc.
There are short para jumbles (comprising four-five sentences), Expression based (A statement/idiomatic expression is given and the right meaning of the same is to be selected from the followed options) as well as English language passage based questions in this section. The reading comprehension passages are not very long followed by multiple choice questions. It also contains questions from words, phrases, the vocabulary questions come from synonyms and antonyms, fill in the blanks, idioms, etc.
This section mainly contains current affairs. Candidates need to be updated well for this section. Candidates have to update on current affairs like science, biology, political history, political geography and arts & culture.
