Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (deemed to be) University is going to conduct the engineering entrance exam in April 2019. A candidate has to satisfy all the prerequisites set by the admission authority to obtain admission in the engineering courses at the various campuses of Amrita University.
The qualification for admission includes terms such as a candidate should have completed their 10+2/ intermediate or equivalent examination with at least 60% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. One should not get lower than 55% marks in each of these subjects. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 board exams in March/ April are also eligible to apply for the examination. However, they need to keep in mind the minimum percentage score.
A candidate can also apply for the AEEE with a valid JEE Main scorecard. While coming to age limit, applications are accepted from candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2018.
AEEE 2019 is conducted for admission to courses offered at Amrita School of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore campuses. The examination will be conducted at more than 90 centres across the country.
The entrance exam is conducted for admission to branches such as aerospace, chemical, civil, computer science, electronics and communication, mechanical, electrical and electronics, and electronics and instrumentation engineering.
