This paper test candidates ability to articulate their thoughts clearly and concisely.
1. Essay Writing:
Topics related to national security, internal affairs, economics issues, and social challenges
Focus on structured writing with a clear introduction, body and conclusion.
2. Precis Writing:
Summarizing passages to test comprehension and concise expression.
3. Comprehension
Understanding passages and answering related questions
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards
While PET is not part of the syllabus, candidates must for :
100 Meters and 800 Meters run
Long Jump
Shot put (for male candidates)
Medical standards include fitness parameters such as visual acuity, weight and overall physical health.
Interview / Personality Test
Although the interview is not syllabus based, candidates are evaluated on:
Leadership qualities
Decision-making ability
Awarness of national security and governance issues
Communication skills.
