WLCI AICET Examination Pattern

AICET 2020 Exam Pattern:

It is mainly divided into two sections:

1. Written and

2. Interview Round

1. AICET Written Test

The written test is mainly divided into two parts

  • Creative Ability Test (CAT)

  • General Ability Test (GAT)

Note: There is no negative marking included.

CAT:

In this section candidate's skill is assessed based on the intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development and design ability of the candidate is judged. Aspirants are also tested on the creative and innovative use of colour and illustration skills.

GAT:

  • Total no questions:100
  • Test duration: 60 minutes
  • The medium of instructions: English

This test comprises of four sections which are Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, Analytical Ability and General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

2. AICET Interview Round

The personal interview is the final round to shortlist aspirants for admissions. Candidates are evaluated based on the following parameters:

  • Career orientation

  • Aptness for the course

  • Overall personal achievements in academics and co-curricular activities

  • Communication

  • General awareness and aptitude, creative and lateral thinking
