There is definite change in the climate and depletion in the resources that we get to use. Further more, we must understand that the population of humans is surpassing, and with each new person, there are needs to be taken care of. Reuse It all

Students are one of the majority of users of products that come from trees. Paper, pencils and many other products are used by studnets in day to day life. For examinations, thousands of paper are used. For daily notes and practice of calculation, notebooks after notebooks are used by students. What one can do to be eco friendly is to reuse the products that they use.

  • Many notebooks are left incomplete after the academic session is over. You can use it for tough work the next year, rather than buying a new notebook.
  • Try getting second hand text books from your seniors or from a second hand book shop.
  • Use ink pen, rather than jel pens or ball pens which are thrown away once the ink is over.

Make Art

We all require some serious ambiance as students. We look for a zone where we can be in our best form. Many students take print out of posters, and buy expensive sculptures and books to make their rooms or study look better.

What a student can do is make art out of paper, charts, and other leftover. Put them all together and give your room a revamp. There are many DIY video tutorials that you can look up and follow. Dream catchers, posters, book covers are few ideas that you can take up.

Take a Bicycle ride!

College students are always in a hurry and can be seen riding a bike or a car. Though this might be helpful in terms of how fast you will reach your destination, you should also remember the pollution caused by automobiles that run on petrol and diesel.

The youth can definetly take up bicycles to their universities and for every day use. It will keep them healthy and at the same time be helpful towards being eco-friendly.

Say no to plastic

Though the government is doing its best to curb the use of plastic by the commoners, we don't see a change in the scenario. Students of today are the citizens of tomorrow.

If you decide to say no, there will definitely be a change in the society. Moreover you can be part of initiatives that focus on cleaning up areas in the cities where groups come together to remove polythene bags which are dumped into a corner.

Divide your waste!

Waste can be divided into two types. Dry waste and wet waste. While throwing away the garbage, one must make sure they divide the trash into these two divisions. Wet waste can be used for developing manure and other biodegradable products that can be used for farming and other processes.

Dry waste can be recycled to make other products. Not dividing them can cause more fuss in the environment. Also proper dealing of garbage is also necessary.

Use LED bulbs

As students you will require bright lights all the time to keep up with your studying. During those nights and early mornings, you will be using a lot of electricity.

If you think about how much electricity will be wasted if a huge number of students then it might make you wonder the amount of energy that is being wasted. Instead use LED lights which saves electricity and helps to conserve energy.

There you go! Now you know how to be responsible while you keep up your studies.
Today as you start taking small steps, tomorrow they will become monumental.
So don't forget to be eco-friendly!
