Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification:
A Diploma in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering from a government-recognized institute.
Distance education diplomas are not valid.
Age Limit:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 40 years (as on January 1, 2025)
Age relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC/MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years).
Salary & Pay Scale
Pay Band: ₹14,000 - ₹70,000
Grade Pay: ₹8,700
Additional allowances as per Assam government norms.
This position falls under the Pay Band-2 of the Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.
