Teacher's Day Speech For Students In English
Good morning to all the teachers and my dear friends.
The light of the world, the beacon in the dark and the hope that gives us strength to survive, is our teacher. Today we celebrate Teachers' Day. A day, kept aside to honour the gifted souls who work everyday to make sure that the future is bright for all of us. Let us welcome all the teachers with a big round of applause.
On this beautiful occasion, let us take the opportunity to convey our wishes to all our teachers, who have given impeccable contribution in shaping us.
Every year 5th of September, we celebrate Teachers Day. It is a day filled with lots of excitement, joy and happiness as students are eagerly looking forward to tell their teachers how and why are they special to them. It is my honour to to talk about our dear teachers on this wonderful occasion.
We celebrate Teachers' day on 5th of September every year in India. September 5th is marked by the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the Teachers' day is celebrated in commemoration of his birthday. Along with being a succesful leader in the form of the President of the Country, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was great scholar and an excellent teacher.
Students across the country celebrate this day to pay respect and thank their teachers. Teachers are the back bone of our society. They spear head change by shaping and building students' personality and make them ideal citizens of the country.
As one looks at the great impact on the growth, development and well being of the students and nation, one must agree that teaching is a noble profession.
There is a saying that teachers are greater than the parents. Parents give birth to a child whereas teachers mould that child's personality and provide a bright future. Apart from academics, teachers stand by us at every step to guide, motivate and inspire to become better people.
They are the source of knowledge and wisdom. From them leads the ideas and thougts, that one day each one of use will use to provide back into this society. I would like to extend my gratitude to every teacher for selffless service and dynamic support. We are always grateful to you.
Thank you everyone.
Just like every year, this year also we have gathered here to celebrate Teachers' Day. Every year the 5th of September is celebrated as Teachers' Day in India commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. As a Teacher, Vice President and second President of India Dr. RadhaKrishnan made an immense contribution to the country.
On this special occasion, I wish to convey my best wishes and greetings to all the Teachers gathered here and to all those, who have helped me attain success in my academics.
As we all know that it is impossible to define 'teacher' as Teachers are not only limited to Teaching or guiding students in academics but also helping students to take the right path. They add value to our character and make us ideal citizens of the country.
Secondly, Teachers are our second parents. Teachers play a prominent role in influencing and inspiring us. Every student tries to imitate their teachers and consider them as a role model. After parents, teachers take the responsibility of moulding a child's character at each and every step.
Therefore, it is our utmost duty to salute/convey our wishes to Teachers today in recognition of their undeterred efforts. Let us take time to pay honour and admire all their contribution in elevating us. Thank you teachers for your invaluable efforts and guidance.
Good morning to all of you gathered here to celebrate the special occasion - The Teachers' Day. It gives me immense pleasure to be here and to talk about the main personalities of the day, our very own teachers.
It is well-known fact that every year we celebrate 5th September as Teachers' Day in memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was a Teacher par excellence and also one of the successful Presidents of India.
Teachers' Day is a special and important day as students offer their respect to Teachers in recognition of their contribution in the field of education.
Teachers are the building blocks of our lives. They act as second mothers to all students. On this August occassion, on behalf of all the students, I would like to thank you teachers for moulding us into worthy people to face the world boldly. Teacher's day is celebrated in commemoration of the great leader Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was the President of India in the tenure between 1962 to 1967. He was a scholar and a firm believer of education such that his birth anniversary came to be celebrated as teacher's day.
As students, we have been some times tough to handle. But your individual attention has helped us learn from our mistakes and grow. I take the opportunity to mention on teacher's day, how much all of you mean to us. I take this stage to confess that we may all not be in your good books. But this is the best day for all of us to express how much we love you as students. Thank you teachers for being with us as we grow. We will definitely make you proud in the years to come!
Teachers are also the guides who play an important role in transforming a student into a responsible citizen. They also serve selflessly and help us to reach our aim in all terms. Their contribution is not only limited to schools but it extends to society and country. Thus, after parents, teachers should receive the due respect.
Teachers' day is celebrated as a special event in schools and colleges in different ways. Students will be looking forward to make the event special by offering gifts, flowers and greeting cards to their teachers. Cultural programmes are conducted to make the programme more fun-filled and colourful.
The D-day provides the students with a wonderful opportunity to be grateful to their teachers in appreciation of their work. Hence, don't miss the chance to celebrate and make it memorable.
Good morning to one and all. We have gathered here today to commemorate the efforts of our teachers who are believed to be the second parents and guiding masters of our career. It is an honourable occasion for all our students to wish our Teachers or Gurus on this Teachers' Day, which is celebrated on September 5.
The day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He is more popular as a Professor rather than holding positions such as the second President of India and the first Vice President of India. The fact behind celebrating Teacher's Day on September 5 - when students approached Radhakrishnan to celebrate his birthday, he replied that instead of celebrating my personal birthday, it is better if you dedicate the day to tribute the whole teaching profession. And September 5th was celebrated to pay honour to teachers for their efforts in shaping students.
This is an opportunity to pay tribute to our teachers for their selfless efforts. We should show the gratitude to our teachers who never consider us less than their own children while teaching and guiding. They inspire and motivate us whenever requires. They are the one who prepare us to tackle the tough situations in our life at early stage with their knowledge and patience. Hence, on this special day make it more memorable by showing the gratitude to teachers.
My dear teachers, we never forget you in our life wherever we are. We are thankful and grateful for all your efforts. Thank You.
