The most popular entrance examination for admissions to Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) programmes, National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) will be held every year in April. NATA, conducted by Council of Architecture (COA), can't be combined with the other examinations because it requires a separate aptitude test.

NATA is one amongst the examinations that test the aspirant's creativity and critical thinking. The test format of NATA comprises of two parts namely multiple choice questions (MCQ) and drawings. The mathematics and general aptitude questions will be asked in the MCQ format. The test will be conducted online for MCQs; however, A4-size sheet will be provided for the drawings. While coming to the total marks in each part, 120 marks were reserved for the MCQs and 80 marks for the drawing section.

The topics such as the coordinate geometry and 3-dimensional coordinate geometry are very important. During the last week, you should also focus on permutation and combination, statistics and probability.

Recall all the concepts in the architectural design theory and basic construction terminology. Dedicate at least two hours for the general awareness section on the last day, because you can solve them in a minute. Don't focus much on the mathematical reasoning on the last day, because you've to focus on other important areas.
