Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has released the notification of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2018 examination. The HTET 2018 exam will be conducted on January 5 & 6, 2019. This is an offline exam consisting of three papers. Interested candidates can fill the application forms between until November 30, 2018.

HTET Eligibility 2018
Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria set by the BSEH. There is no specific age limit to appear for the exam. For becoming a teacher for classes 1 to 5 (PRT), one should have passed senior secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or passed/ appearing for the two-year diploma in elementary education from a recognised board. Candidates must have passed B.Ed from a recognised institute for TGT. One should have passed post graduation with B.Ed for PGT lecturers. However, aspirants are advised to refer to the official notification for individual subjects.
HTET 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is different depending upon the level of teachers. There shall be no negative marking. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. The question paper will be in English and Hindi. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.

HTET Admit Card 2018
The admit card for the HTET will be released by the BSEH on December 20, 2018. The registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website in order to appear for the pen and paper-based examination. HTET Qualifying Marks
Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination. The qualifying marks are similar to all the levels. According to the official notification, the qualifying marks for all the levels are as follow.
For all categories except Scheduled Castes and PwD: 60% (90 marks)
For Scheduled Castes and PwD: 55% (83 marks)
For Scheduled Castes and PwD (Other State): 60% (90 marks)

BSEH has published the nature and standard of questions for all the three levels of examination.
