PU Board prepares Maths question paper keeping rural kids in mind

Mathematics PU paper analysis by Deksha Centre

Bangalore: March 18, 2014: Mathematics question paper was by far the simplest question papers set by the PU Board. After the syllabus change, everybody was worried that Rural Karnataka's pass percentage would drop.

But the paper setter has definitely kept them in mind while they picked most of the questions that appeared in the PU Board exam either from solved examples in the textbook or the model question papers they made available to all students.

Out of 50 questions, 29 were from the model papers itself. Passing the paper will not be a problem. 2 questions were wrongly printed; so students may expect 3-7 marks for attempt based on PU Board consideration. We can expect a lot of 100% too.

Student's take on the exam:

"The paper was very easy. There was no problem finishing it on time. Most of the questions were there in the model question papers. So, it's been a good run so far. I just hope that Chemistry will be easy too."- Trivikram, Student of DCFL
