The students who get selected will get the opportunity to question PM. The event used to be held in an auditorium where PM would take questions in person, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was moved online last year. It's still undecided what will be the event's format this year.

Students will receive a certificate of appreciation as well as a Pariksha Pe Charcha kit. Digital souvenirs autographed by PM Modi will be given to some of the shortlisted candidates.

Last year, the Prime Minister stated that students are suffering the repercussions of a mistake they did not make because of the Covid-19-led school closure.

PM Modi published the book "Exam Warriors" and has since launched a push to make tests less stressful for both students and teachers. Pariksha Pe Charcha is a programme that tries to make boards with modest stakes. The new National Education Policy (NEP) announced in 2020 states the same thing. The Exam Warriors module on the NaMo App gives the Exam Warriors movement a technological twist. The module also includes tasks that aid in the retention of concepts through practicals.
