Important tips to crack NET December 2014

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is all set to conduct National Eligibility Test (NET) 2014 on December 28, on behalf of UGC.

Every year, more than 4 lakh students will appear for the examination. Candidates are advised to prepare well for the examination to score excellent marks in NET December 2014.

The candidates who want to crack NET examination in their 1st attempt are advised to follow the following steps.

Preparation Time:
As the syllabus for the examination is wide, and only limited time left, one should start preparing ahead of time, in fact now.Proper schedule and sticking to that is the key to success of any examination. During preparation proportion of the subjects based on the students, strength should take care.

Learn Basic:
Student should be superb in fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics and Biology.

Syllabus and Pattern:
Before you even set out to prepare, just go through the syllabus and previous year exam pattern. One cannot be master in all the subjects, so it's better to concentrate on the strength of the student. If someone is good in the subject.

Preparation strategy:
Develop a preparation strategy by asking relevant questions to yourself such as which novel, poem, theory, etc. It may take only a minute or two to design a robust preparation strategy. Just carefully understand you requirements and needs, and based on that develop a preparation strategy.

Practice:
There is no specific method but practicing with proper timing like other competitive exams will help the aspirants to manage the timings during the examination. Clear vision, grip over the subject, time management are the key factors.

Follow Study Materials:
Students can take up any standard available books, except very cheap series that does not convey the proper understanding. In the meantime, they should go too much deep in a particular paper as time management and finishing the overall syllabus itself is a challenging task for a student. One can easily get the help of the teachers or fellows for better understanding of the troublesome topics.

Prepare Short Notes:
After deciding what one needs to study and how much time is required to spend on each topic, it is time to study. One of the best ways is to make brief notes or summarize what one has study.

Revision:
Revision is the key to success; Our Brain can not store so much information in its active memory. Give at least a week or 10 days to revision in order to read all notes. You may cover all topics in-depth but if you do not revise them then, there are high chances that you will forget them during NET exam.
