The largest public sector bank in the country, State Bank of India (SBI), has released the examination dates for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. The selection process for the post of Junior Associate consists of preliminary & main examinations and a test of specified opted local language. The dates of the preliminary examination are June 23, 24 & 30, 2018.
The preliminary examination consists of three sections, namely, English language, numerical ability and reasoning ability. The duration of the preliminary examination is one hour, that means aspirants have to be very accurate and quick while answering the questions. Effective preparations during the last week play an important role in increasing your speed along with accuracy. Most of the aspirants know that revisions are very important and required during the last phase of the preparation process. The revisions for the SBI exam should be done in a constructive manner. We suggest aspirants opt for section-wise revisions to gain more command over the concepts. For instance, if you are revising the data sufficiency topic, try to cover the same topic in the reasoning ability section as well. This type of revision will save time.
Say No To New Practise Books
At this moment, you will be attracted to many new books to score more in the examination. Understand that the format of the questions will be same in every book. Taking a new book at this stage will only increase your anxiety during the last phase.
Hone Your Shortcuts
The duration of the SBI Junior Associates exam will be one hour and one has to answer 100 questions. Hence, one should work on their time management skills. During revisions, try to work on the shortcuts to crack the questions in less time. However, using of too many shortcuts is also not suggested.
Take Mock Test Daily
Answering 100 questions in 60 minutes requires a lot of energy. Attempting the exam directly without taking any mock test will stress during the exam. During the last week, try to attempt at least one mock test to get acquainted with the exam duration and pattern.
Focus On The Last Day
The last-day preparations are also very important for the SBI Junior Associates exam. Read the important topics such as synonyms and antonyms for the English section. Focus on simplifications, data interpretation and data sufficiency in the numerical ability section. Give importance to coding & decoding, analogy, classification, series, ordering & ranking and directions & distances topics in the reasoning ability section.
