Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to 17 prominent National Law Universities in India. CLAT aspirant can seek admissions in integrated under graduation programmes and post graduate programmes.
The exam is conducted every year by a National Law University (NLU) among the 17 members NLUs of the CLAT Committee. The CLAT scores are used by other private law colleges across the country and Public Sector Undertakings for admissions and recruitment respectively. CLAT examination will be held on May 13, 2018.

National Law University (NLU), Delhi conducts All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). AILET is conducted for admission to BA LLB Degree course, Master of Law (LLM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses. AILET exam will be held on May 6, 2018.

LSAT is a Law School Admission Test, which the applicants to law school take up. It is administered four times each year around the world at designated testing centers.

Law School Admission Council (LASC) administers LSAT for aspiring law school candidates. LSAT is designed to evaluate reading comprehension, logical and verbal reasoning skills.

This test forms an integral part of the admission process to law schools in the US, Canada (only for common law programmes), University of Melbourne, Australia, and many other countries.

An applicant will not be allowed to take LSAT, more than thrice within a two year period. LSAT India exam pattern is such that aspirants have to attempt multiple-choice questions in a duration of 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT)-India is a paper-pencil test conducted across the country by Law School Admission Council (LSAC).

The test is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate level law programmes in various law schools in India. The law exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 20, 2018.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies conducts ULSAT to offer admission to aspirants in law programmes with specialisation in Corporate Law, Energy Specialisation, Taxation Laws and Technical courses like Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber Law. Candidates seeking admission in BA LLB (Hons)/BBA LLB (Hons)/BCom LLB (Hons) courses are eligible to apply for ULSAT 2018 if they have secured minimum 50% marks in Class X and XII. The online exam is scheduled for May 11, 2018, & May 12, 2018.

Symbiosis International University conducts Symbiosis Entrance Test law or SET Law/ SLAT on May 5, 2018. SET Law will be held in an offline or pen and paper mode for admissions to BBA LLB and BA LLB seats. Candidates scoring 45 percent (General) or 40 percent (SC/ ST/ OBC) in their Class 12 will be eligible to apply for SET law 2018.

 

BHU Law Admission Test (BLAT)

The BHU LLB Admission Test commonly called, BLAT is the entrance examination administered by the central university for admissions to undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB. Banaras Hindu University conducts BLAT 2018 on May 27, 2018. Candidates eligible for BLAT 2018 will be allowed to appear in BLAT in offline mode.

Aligarh Muslim University law entrance exam (AMU law entrance exam) is conducted to provide admission to aspirants in the law courses BA LLB & LLM. AMU offers admissions to aspirants in the undergraduate and postgraduate law courses offered by it. The law entrance exam for BA LLB admissions is scheduled to be conducted on May 28, 2018.

Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra conducts MHCET Law is a national level common entrance exam. MHCET offers admission in law programmes offered in the state. MHCET exam for LLB (5 years) is conducted on April 22, 2018, & MHCET exam for LLB (3 years) is conducted on June 17, 2018.
