How To Crack JIPMER Entrance Exam?

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry is all set to conduct JIPMER entrance exam 2015 for MBBS, B.Sc, M.Sc, MPH, Ph.D, MD, MS, DM and M.Ch.

The exams are scheduled to be held between June and December.

Following this here we are providing some tips and tricks that help you to crack the entrance exam

• The syllabus of JIMPER is vast.Plan for a day or week. Set your targets for a week and check your progress weekly.
• Read NCERT books thoroughly, and refer another few books for each subject to know a little more about a particular topic
• Try understanding basics and then move to depths of a topic
• Have a time table and follow it
• Monitor your progress by taking tests. Tests help in your preparation, time management and understand your weaknesses
• Make sure to overcome weaknesses, before moving ahead
• Repeated revision sure to land you in success
• Practice numerical problems in physics and physical chemistry
• For biology regularity and repetition are very important as it tends to be forgotten easily
• Read blogs/articles/papers/books by famous doctors. The reading helps you know little about what these people have done, what drives them and what they do
• The questions for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination will be based on the syllabus for XI & XII Standard as prescribed by State Board Higher Secondary and CBSE
• Hard work is the not only the answer to crack the JIPMER entrance test. Acquire a set of standard text books from where you can learn and get familiar with the basics
• Joining a coaching centre can also be a good idea. Coaching center provides you a schedule to follow on a daily/weekly basis. They also help you assess yourself among other students in the coaching center
• Solving old question papers will guide to score marks. It is a well-known fact that at least 10% to 30% of the questions in most pre-medical entrance exams including the JIPMER have repeat questions. Do not miss out on the opportunity to answer all such question correctly
• Attempting at least 200-300 questions on a daily basis is the easiest way to get top ranks. Attempting questions adds necessary knowledge, refreshes memory and corrects previously retained incorrect concepts and facts
