CBSE Class 12 Bengali Syllabus for 2026-27

Bengali Syllabus that is incorporated in the higher stage by CBSE is one of the most interesting and dynamic languages that the Board offers for the learners and teachers as well. The Syllabus of Bengali is categorized into 5 major sections, namely:
Section A contains Reading, a total of 10 Marks.
Section B is Grammar which is of 16 Marks.
Section C is Composition and Writing which contains 10 Marks.
Section D is Literature, which contains a total of 44 Marks.
Section E contains Project, Listening and Speaking that is of 10, 5 and 5 Marks respectively.
The major concern of the introduction of Bengali at a higher stage is to improve the learners’ analyzing and creating power. Improving the Comprehensive Skills of the students is also among the main aspects of the Syllabus of Bengali, that is being inculcated by the CBSE.
