Top pointers for a better essay

Generally, an essay is written to make someone understand your views on a topic or subject. To write an essay can be annoying. At times, it can be a real tester of your patience.

But, there are ways to get it going during the exams, if you have the following pointers in mind. Primarily, be sure of what you would want to communicate to your audience and secondly make it readable and to-the-point.

In order to enjoy writing and to have fun composing an essay, you may observe these quick steps.

Do a mental research first. Try to understand and think about the topic really well. Certain topics could be harder to write on. However, think and analyse. Make a mental list of what you are going to write. Picturise the structure of the whole content. Create a format of how it must look at the end. Let the best points come first and form a skeleton of the essay.

Introduction rules. The introduction of the essay gives the sunrise effect to the content. It acts as a pointer to the whole story. Basic introduction of the topic would be sufficient to start off with. The who, where, what, when and why can happen in the first paragraph or two. Followed by the how(s). Use one-line sentences to describe paragraphs.

Sub-Headings or paragraphs are necessary. Highlight top relevant points. List out the sub-points and fill it with contextual description. Make sure that it makes sense and is connected to the main topic.

Have a unified proportion of description under each sub-heading. Let each of your sub-headings have proportionate descriptions throughout the essay. For instance, if you have 5 sub-headings in total and if you are using 5-6 sentences for the first one, try to maintain the same for the remaining ones as well.

Use short and crisp sentences, full of meaning and relevance. It is better to be very cautious about your language throughout the essay. Read and evaluate your sentences, grammar, spellings, and check for conceptual accuracy. Try not to have the essay too crowded with words. Let your communication be easy and understandable. Edit until it reads just the way you would want it to sound.

It would be your responsibility to have the reader enjoy your essay and be satisfied with your information, without any hassles.
