There will be two stages of the SSC JE Exam selection process
Paper-1
Paper-2
This year SSC JE Paper - I 2022 Exam will be conducted in online mode.

SSC JE 2022: Exam Dates

SSC JE Paper - I 2022 will be conducted from 14th to 16th November 2022.

SSC Junior Engineer 2022 Paper-1: Exam Pattern

SSC JE Paper - I 2022 is a Computer Based Test (CBT). There will be 3 sections in Paper-1

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning; This section will consist of 50 marks.
2. General Awareness: This section will also consist of 50 marks.
3. General Engineering (Civil and Structural), (Electrical & Mechanical): This section is of 100 marks. This section is divided in three areas.
Part A- General Engineering (Civil & Structural)
Part B- General Engineering (Electrical)
Part C- General Engineering (Mechanical)
The total time alloted for all sections is 2 Hours (2 hours and 40 minutes for the candidates who are eligible for scribe).

Tips For Candidates Appearing For SSC JE 2022

1. Candidates should prepare for their optional subject thoroughly for achieving success in Paper-1 and construct a concrete study plan according to the syllabus thoroughly.
2. Divide your engineering SSC JE Previous year Paper into 2 parts- numerical-based & theory-based. Because the theoretical questions are fact-based and so there is no guess work so plan accordingly so that you can solve these questions easily in less time.
3. Analyse the type of questions that you are frequently getting wrong, and practice them well until you ace the type.
4. Solve at least 10-15 questions daily of the high difficulty level, this will help you to solve them easily during the day of examination,
5. Maintain a balance between speed and accuracy which is most important thing in this exam.
Please solve the questions in a time-bound manner. Keep your timer on while giving mock tests. This needs a lot of practice. You should revise and learn the basic concepts often.
6. The General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness consists of 100 Qs. Therefore, try to finish the non-technical part in less time say, 60 minutes so that you can devote the rest of the time to your technical core subject.
7. Knowing important and high weightage topics for exams. Spend more time on topics that carry more weightage.
