Choose the right syllabus

The questions for the JEE Mains are based on the class 12 syllabus. So refer to 12th standard books, especially those prescribed by the NCERT. It is important for you to be strong in your fundamentals as questions will be based on concepts and not be repetitive of textual content alone.

Revise

Go through all the concepts that you have studied so far and make sure that you are thorough in them. As mentioned earlier, JEE is about concepts and memorising will not at all work in this. So get your basics right and make sure your revision paves way for a good memory while writing exam.

Sample question papers

If you are fishing for a repeat in questions from previous years question papers, it is not going to work out. However, practising those questions will give you an idea on the kind of questions that would be asked and also help you to time your answers accordingly. Like the saying goes that practice makes a man perfect, this is the best thing that you can do in the last few days left before the exam.

Sleep pattern

Do not change your sleep pattern in the last minute for the sake of experimenting new methods of studying before the exam. For some people, early morning would be refreshing while for the others, late night would be the ideal time to study. Given that there are only few more days to go for the exam, do not attempt to change your pattern. Have a minimum six hours of sleep and continue your timetable for study.

Build positivity

Answering the JEE mains questions is all about your confidence and presence of mind. So when you have to first feel sure of your preparation and stay positive till the exam ends. Even if some question sounds tricky, do not panic. Staying calm will get your undivided attention into cracking the answer and this help you perform better
