What is new about GATE 2015?


The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are jointly conducts the Graduate Aptitude of Test in Engineering (GATE).

GATE for the year 2015, is being conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.

The online registration for GATE 2015 would begin from September 1, 2014.

The changes introduced in GATE 2014, that will continue to remain in place for GATE 2015.

According to GATE 2015 website, GATE exam will be held on January 31, February 01, 07, 08, 14, 2015, during forenoon and afternoon sessions, on alternate weekends.

What is New in GATE 2015?.

  • All the supporting documents should be sent online only. No hard copy will be accepted.
  • Payments have to be made through debit/ATM cards, credit cards or internet banking and e-challan only

Important dates:

Online registration will begin from Sept 01, 2014.

Last date for the submission of the application form is Oct 01, 2014.

Admit card will be available from Dec 17, 2014.

GATE 2014 would be held from Jan 31 to Feb 14, 2015.
