Maharashtra Bridge Course Launched For Classes 2 To 10: Minister Varsha Gaikwad

Maharashtra Bridge Course developed by SCERT for classes 2 to 10 announced by Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. The 45-day activity will be from July 1 to Aug 15, 2021.

Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has launched a Bridge Course to strengthen the foundation of children's education. The State Council Of Education Research and Training (SCERT) has rolled out the 45-day Maharashtra Bridge Course for Marathi, Mathematics, English, Science, Hindi, Urdu and Social Science subjects. The Maharashtra bridge course activity will be implemented between July 1 and August 15, 2021. The course is available at maa.ac.in.

Maharashtra Bridge Course For Classes 2 To 10

Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has inaugurated the Maharashtra bridge course prepared by SCERT. In a series of tweets, Varsha described the 45-day bridge course available for Marathi, Mathematics, English, Science, Hindi and Social Sciences in Marathi and Urdu medium from Class 2 to Class 10.

She tweeted, "I am confident that this bridge course will not only connect the two classes but will also carry forward the education of all those who have been left behind by embracing the egalitarian ideology inculcated by the great man Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar."

Varsha tweeted, "Under this initiative, old textbooks will be useful for study and students should not deposit them in the school. These old textbooks are required to complete the Setu syllabus."

Varsha Gaikwad said, "It is a matter of satisfaction that the students who are lagging behind in the flow of education can be taken along through the bridge course. This initiative will be useful in strengthening the foundation of children's education."

Maharashtra Bridge Course

This is a 45-day course implemented between July 1 and August 15, 2021. It consists of subjects - Marathi, Mathematics, English, Science, Hindi, Urdu and Social Science. Students should take three tests during the course in online or offline mode.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray has asked the Education Department to find the possibilities to reopen the schools and colleges in villages that are not affected by the ongoing pandemic. The government has also cancelled the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
