JNU Recruitment 2019 For 73 Non-teaching Faculty Positions; Apply Before 04 February 2019

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), a premier Central University, has invited online applications for 73 non-teaching faculty positions comprising Junior Assistant cum Typist, Multi Task Staff (MTS), Personal Assistant and Stenographer. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must apply on or before 04 February 2019 by 5:30 pm.

Age Criteria And Fee

Candidates applying for various posts through JNU Recruitment 2019 must not have exceeded 35 years of age with a relaxation in the upper limit to the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Exserviceman) as well as departmental candidates from JNU as per the Govt. of India rules.

Candidates are required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs.500/- (Gen/OBC) towards the application process through online (net-banking/debit/credit) mode only as specified in the notification. Women/SC/ST/and PwD candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

Educational Criteria

Candidates applying for various posts as under through JNU Recruitment 2019 must have the following qualifications.

Junior Assistant cum Typist - Candidates applying for this post must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent and must have a good typing speed - English : 30 words per minute; Hindi 25 words per minute. He/she should also have good knowledge of computer operation.

Multitask Staff - Candidates applying for this post must have qualified Matriculation/ITI.

Personal Assistant - Candidates applying for this post must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent, and must possess proficiency in shorthand with a minimum speed of 100 w.p.m. He/she must have at least 2 years of experience as a Stenographer along with knowledge of computer operation.

Stenographer - Candidates applying for this post must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent and must possess proficiency in shorthand with a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates to the posts of Junior Assistant cum Typist, Multi Task Staff (MTS), Personal Assistant and Stenographers will be based on a Skill Test, Objective Type Test and Descriptive Type Test as detailed in the notification.

Candidates selected to various posts will be paid as under:

Junior Assistant cum Typist - Rs. 19,900/ - Rs. 63,200/- pm
Multitask Staff - Rs. 18,000/ - Rs. 56,900/- pm
Personal Assistant - Rs. 35,400/ - Rs.1,12,400/- pm
Stenographer - Rs. 25,500/ - Rs. 81,100/- pm
