There is no particular syllabus prescribed for XAT 2015 by XLRI Jamshedpur. In this article we will provide you the syllabus for XAT 2015.

The XAT examination is divided into two parts of different sections. Part 1 has four sections, verbal and logical activity, decision making and quantitative ability, Date interpretation and General awareness. Part 2 of the subject consists of essay writing question.

The topics of each section are discussed below:

Verbal and Logical Ability - XAT 2015 Syllabus
In this section, the main topics include probability, analytic skills and verbal logical ability. Other topics in this section include:

  • Vocabulary
  • Para completion, Inference
  • Grammar
  • Reading Comprehension

Decision Making - XAT 2015 Syllabus
The syllabus for this section has questions related to the decision making skills of students.

Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation - XAT 2015 Syllabus
The syllabus for this section has questions related to numbers, number system, numerology and data skills. The main topics included in this section is as follows:

  • Arithmetic
  • Geometry
  • Statistics
  • Number system
  • Algebra
  • P&C
  • Probability
  • Set theory
  • DI caselets

Part 2 of the XAT 2015 examination syllabus include General awareness and essay writing. This section intends to prepare students with essay writing and general knowledge questions. This section of the examination cannot be defined with a particular syllabus.
