The CBSE has also collaborated with the National Council of Applied Economic Research on a school skilling programme. According to the statement, NCAER will conduct a research study in two phases. The first phase will analyse CBSE inputs and compare existing teaching and learning patterns to find gaps and faults with the current CBSE curriculum.

The second phase of the research will concentrate on identifying methods and corrective measures to overcome these limits and improve the elements found in phase 1 in order to make skilling programmes more relevant and impactful in CBSE schools.
