The Army Public School (APS), a consortium of schools run by the Indian Army across India, has invited online applications from eligible and experienced Indian nationals for filling 8,000 PRT, TGT and PGT positions in various disciplines comprising English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science/Informatics, Home Science and Physical Education through direct selection. The application-cum-registration process towards the same started on September 1, 2019 and closes on September 22, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for PRT, TGT and PGT posts through Army Public School Recruitment must not have exceeded 40 years of age (fresh candidates with less than 5 years experience) and 57 years (experienced candidates with more than 5 years teaching experience) respectively as on April 1, 2020 as specified in the notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (non-refundable) as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit payment gateways) mode only.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for PRT, TGT and PGT posts through Army Public School Recruitment must possess the following qualifications:

PRT	Graduation and B.Ed/Two year Diploma with minimum 50% marks
TGT	Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks
PGT	Post-Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for PRT, TGT and PGT posts through Army Public School Recruitment will be done in three stages comprising:

Online Written Test (MCQ format)
Interview and
Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency

Candidates selected for PRT, TGT and PGT posts will be paid emolument as per the APS norms.
