JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2014 Pattern

Joint Entrance Examination Main 2014 exam will be held on 6th April.

JEE Apex board has announced the application date for the exam JEE Main 2014. Applications will be available from 15 Nov 2013.

JEE Main 2014 is the qualifying entrance exam for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions and State Funded Technical Institutions across India.

JEE Main 2014 exam pattern:

JEE Main 2014 shall have two papers. Paper-I (B.E / B.Tech) and Paper-II (B.Arch / B.Plan).
Depending on the courses candidates may have to take Paper-I or Paper-II or both.

Requirements of papers for different course is given below:

All other Undergraduate courses (B.E / B.Tech): Paper-I
B.Arch / B.Plan (at the institutes other than IITs): Paper-II

Important detail:
Only those candidates who have passed their class 12 exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2012 / 2013; or those who are appearing in their class 12 exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2014 exam.
