AIMS Conducts ATMA 2012 On 9th December
About ATMA : (AIMS Test For Management Admissions) ATMA is an entrance exam conducted by AIMS (Association Of Indian Management Schools). This exam is conducted four times in a year. ATMA is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India for admission on All India basis to the MBA/PGDM and other Postgraduate Programmes like MCA.

AIMS Announced the Examination Date for the end of this year 2012. Well, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 9th of December, 2012.

ATMA 2012 Eligibility : Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Students appearing for their final year examinations are also eligible to apply.

ATMA 2012 Test Pattern : The test contains 170 questions spread over six sections. Each sections is scheduled separately. Exam duration is of three hours. The sections consists of Analytical Reasoning skills, Qualitative Skills and Verbal Skills.

The complete details on section, duration and number of questions is as shown below :

Section A : Quantitative Skills-I , 30 Questions and 35 Minutes.
Section B : Verbal Skills-I, 25 Questions, and 30 Minutes.
Section C : Analytical Reasoning Skills-I, 30 Questions and 30 Minutes.
Section D : Quantitative Skills-II, 30 Questions and 25 Minutes.
Section E : Verbal Skills-II, 25 Questions and 30 Minutes.
Section F : Analytical Reasoning Skills-II : 30 Questions and 30 Minutes.

Total number of questions is 170 and the exam is of 180 Minutes duration.

Please Note : Before starting to attempt, read the direction carefully. Clear familiarity with the directions and questions is necessary. It is important to read the directions for each set of questions carefully. All the necessary instructrions and guidelines will be given in the Test Booklet.

Analytical Skills : The Questions on Analytical Skills examine the logical thinking abilities of a candidate. Do remember that a particular Question is less important than the reasoning task you are asked to perform. No specialized knowledge of any particular field is required for answering the questions and no knowledge of the terminology and conventions of formal logic are presumed. In answering some questions, it may be useful to draw a rough diagram. For each answer, select the best answer from the choices given, darken the corresponding circle provided n the answer sheet.

Quantitative Skills : For each of the Quantitative Skills, select the correct or the best of the answer choices numbered (1) (2) (3) and (4) and darken the respective circle of your choice provided in the answer sheet. Figures that accompany questions are intended to provide information useful in answering the questions. However, unless it is stated a specific figure is not drawn to scale, the diagrams and figures are drawn as accurately as possible, you should solve these problems NOT by estimating sizes by sight or by measurement, but by using your knowledge of mathematics.

Verbal Skills : The questions on verbal skills test your recognition of correct grammatical usage, vocabulary and familiarities with words, your understanding and comprehension of the language (English) while reading and your ability to write clearly and briefly.

Note : The ATMA score after processing of the results will be sent to the management institutes chosen in the form and to the candidates as a scorecard.
