KVS has released a recruitment notification for more than 8,000 vacancies. Here are the preparation tips for the posts of TGT, PGT and PRT exam.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous organisation of school education under Ministry of Human Resource Development, has released a recruitment notification in the month of August for a total of 8339 vacancies for both teaching & non-teaching posts. The notification was released for the posts such as Principal, Vice- Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Librarian, Primary Teacher and Primary Teacher (Music).

The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in an interview and written examination which is likely to be held in more than 35 cities. Lakhs of aspirants responded to the KVS recruitment and will be appearing for the written examination in a couple of months. The competition for the examination will be huge because the number of vacancies are over 8,000. Aspirants should carefully assess the difference between the posts and start their preparation. In the official website, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has published the detailed syllabus for each post. Applicants are advised to go through the syllabus and making sure they cover all the sections.

The exam pattern is different from one post to another. The reasoning ability, general knowledge, computer knowledge and general English is common for all the posts. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in written test and an interview. The weightage of written test and interview will be 85:15.
