Board exams are an important milestone in a students' life because it is the stepping stone for their career. After years of toil and education in school, it is this exam for class 10 and class 12 that would be fruitful when students step out of their school to flaunt their academic excellence.

For such an important exam, revision should be indispensable as it concentrates all your hard work to one point of memory for you to deliver in the examination hall. What is special about pre-board exams from other exams is that it covers the entire syllabus and give you a real time experience about the main exam.

It is these pre-board exams that would decide your rank because it is a preparation that accumulates your consistent learning and its efforts. Some of you might take it lightly because the marks gained in this exam will not be considered in your marks sheet. But remember that you could only improve by few marks at a time, and this kind of exam is crucial in fixing your marks in the main exam.

Your teachers would have marked some important and frequently asked questions. Do not overlook their importance. Get yourselves thorough with those concepts and revise it before the exams. It would do you a world of good.

Practice Session Pays

Practise ten previous years question papers. Each paper can be a mock test for you. If you find the paper difficult, it does not do you bad to study the answers for those questions first and then write the exam. You will still gain more knowledge and learn concepts that could be asked in your upcoming exam than getting frustrated about a tough question paper.

Time is Precious

Try to write an exam from a previous year question paper, in order to time your answers. The pre board exams are meant for exactly the same purpose. It is a mock test before you face the real challenging examination. So give importance to the time factor too.

(Note: In case you find the paper tough, do not write the answers slowly in order to kill the time, you might never know when an answer would strike for a question that did not seem familiar to you in the first read)
