Parents and teachers are people that children look up to. They feel secure with them. So there is a certain responsibility that you, as a parent or a teacher, have towards your child or your students. Here are a few things that you can do for your child or student, which will enrich their knowledge and strengthen the bond between you two:
Visit a Planetarium with them
Stars and constellations are wonders that are still being explored. Heavenly bodies are one thing that most of the children will quickly get attracted to. You just need to take them to a good place where there is a proper tour and someone would help them with their queries.
Teachers can plan a class trip to a local planetarium. Students will find the whole trip very exciting. If you can, bring in telescopes and students can watch the stars and have closer look at how space really is.
Make a Collage or a Card
For Mother's Day, Father's Day or Teacher's day children usually make collages and drawings. This time you can put together some gum, paper, and color, and add some photographs to make it look really fancy.
Teachers can make a really simple card if not a college, and mention something good for each student in the card. This will make their day and will motivate them.
Organize a Quiz
Quizzes can be a lot of fun for children. They get to learn so much from a 50-minute session. The quiz can be about any topic that the children are interested in or it can be a general quiz. You can make the quiz fun by dividing the class, or a group of children into sub-groups.
As a parent, you can invite your children's friends for the quiz. Make sure you have a really good gift packed for the winner and consolation prizes for the other participants. The focus must be that the children must take away something important in terms of knowledge, from the whole quiz.
