Sushil Kar College(SKC), South 24 Parganas was established in 1968 & affiliated to the Calcutta University.

The college was founded to promote the higher education in this back ward region. The aim of the college is to provide quality education and excels in areas pertaining to their all round development and up gradation of society at large.

The college offers undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce stream. All academic activities are carried out in accordance with the Calcutta University.
