World Sleep Day is observed on the Friday before Spring Vernal Equinox of each year. It is organized by the World Sleep Day Committee of the World Sleep Society. This annual event is celebrated to promote the importance of sleep and keep sleep-related problems at bay through better prevention and management of sleep disorders.

Reading for long hours continuously will end up with a dull brain, which leads to sleep. In order to keep the mind fresh, students should take study breaks at regular intervals. One should take at least a five-minute break for every 45-minute study. The study breaks not only release the exam stress but also increase confidence and memory.
Most students prefer to study under lamplight, which leads to falling asleep because the other portion of the room remains dark. Aspirants should take care of the room's environment. Try to avoid dim lighting in the room to increase productivity.
Be it lunch or dinner, try to avoid hefty meal because you might feel lethargic The best way is to take small meals at regular intervals while studying. When you feel a little bit lazy, go for a nap because you can't concentrate fully.
Most of the general physicians suggest drinking a lot of water for better health. Interestingly, consuming a lot of water will help students in two ways. Apart from health, they can avoid sleep with drinking water because it will increase the captivating power and keep the brain well hydrated.
A famous quote 'early to bed, early to rise' is the best example to be healthy all day. Students should manage time effectively and never keep things to study till late night because it will affect the successive day. Compared to nights, studying during day is more effective.
If you have been studying since morning, it is suggested to take a nap in the afternoon. This power nap will ease you from getting exhausted. It will also help you to focus more during late night study.
Many students prefer luxuries while studying, which is not encouraged. It is advised to keep comfort properties such as leg cushion and pillows at bay while studying. Students should also consider a study chair instead of sitting on a bed.
Many students get monotony because of reading text alone. At a certain point, it will lead to lack of interest and you tend to fall asleep. Hence, it is advised to write important points while studying. This will also help in recalling the topics during last day preparation.
There is a misconception that coffee will help to stay awake at night, which is wrong. Consuming caffeine or energy drinks during the night time might induce sleep. Instead, it is advised to take water at regular intervals.
