One amongst the major private sector banks in the country, South Indian Bank, has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of probationary officers (PO) through a diploma programme titled Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) in Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (MaGE), Bangalore.

South Indian Bank will conduct an online test to select the candidates for the post on December 29, 2018. The period of probation is two years that includes a one-year diploma programme period. Interested candidates can register for the examination till December 16, 2018. Prior to filling-out the applications, know about the South Indian Bank exam pattern and syllabus.

South Indian Bank Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be based on an online test, group discussion and personal interview. The initial short listing will be done based on the online test marks. However, the final selection will be based on the consolidated marks obtained for the online test, GD and personal interview.

South Indian Bank Exam Pattern

The South Indian Bank PO examination will be conducted only in English and one-fourth of the marks for each question will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates who qualify in the online test will be called for the group discussion round and an interview.
