The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a recruitment notification for the 65th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination to various posts in the departments of the state government. The commission has recently released a notice stating that the 65th BPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on October 5, 2019.

BPSC CCE Selection Procedure

The selection procedure of Combined Competitive Exam consists of preliminary, main and an interview. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary will be eligible to take the main examination. The shortlisted candidates based on merit and reservation can appear for the personality test round, i.e., interview.

BPSC CCE Preliminary Exam Pattern

The 64th CCE preliminary exam will be objective type. The exam duration is two hours and carries 150 marks. The compulsory paper will be on general studies that cover a range of sections such as general science, general geography, Indian polity, Indian history, Indian economy, Indian national movement and general mental ability. However, candidates need to give special importance to Bihar while preparing for the exam.
