TNBSE HSC Exam

The main objective of the Department of Government Examination (DGE) is to assess the class 12 students through the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) conducted annually in the months of March/April. The board is also responsible for conducting the supplementary examinations in the months of June/July. Candidates securing 70 marks each in all the six subjects out of 200 (even compartmentally) are only eligible for the award of the Higher Secondary Certificate.

Annually, the DGE releasers the previous year's question papers and/or sample papers on its official website. Tamil Nadu HSC Result 2019 

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has declared the Higher Secondary Education (HSE) or Class 12 result. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check their result on the official website. This year, the overall pass percentage is 91.30.

Step 2: Go to the results section. 

Step 3: Click on ''HSE 2nd Year - March 2019 - Results Analysis'' link 

Step 4: Enter the login details such as roll number.

TN Public Exams 2020 Updates

The Tamil Nadu state public exams were called off by the Government due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic. It has decided to promote the students of Class 10 respective of their marks in half-yearly or quarterly exams.

The board is putting its best foot forward to release the TN Class 12 exams results. The sources suggest that TN Class 12 results 2020 are expected in July. However, there is no official announcement yet regarding the result date. 

Earlier, Education Minister has informed that the Class 12 evaluation process has reached the last stage. Students should visit the official site to track the latest updates.

TN SSLC (Class 10) Board Exams 2020 Cancelled

Tamil Nadu Government has decided to cancel the public exams for Class 10 (SSLC) which were about to commence on June 15. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) public exams for class 10 students stand fully cancelled and promoted to Class 11. He also said that the Class 11 students will be promoted to the next grade.

The students will be awarded marks based on their performance in the quarterly and half-yearly exams. A total of 80% of marks will be awarded based on the exams. The remaining 20% of marks will be based on their attendance.

TN Board Exam Results 2020 Will Be Released In July: Education Minister

The Tamil Nadu Board results of class 10 and 12 would be released in July, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan revealed. He also said that teachers are already engaged in the evaluation of answer sheets of Class 12 exams. The Class 10 board exams 2020 will be held from June 15 to 25 for over 9.5 lakh candidates.

Minister also shared that the reopening date of schools could not be disclosed now. The government is taking its best foot forward to take a decision based on the recommendations made by a committee formed by it to look into the matter.

Tamil Nadu Class 10 Board Exams 2020 Important Updates

The Tamil Nadu government is likely to start the Class 10 board exams from June 15. Students who are aspiring for the annual academic examinations can check the latest updates. 

  • The Board will establish special examination centres in the containment zones. 
  • The Board has planned to distribute masks to about 46.37 lakh students that include teachers and other staff during the examination period.
  • A total of 12,690 examination centres have been readied for the students.
  • The examination centres and evaluation centres will be disinfected twice a day.
  • Around 2 lakh teachers and staff will be involved in the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examination.

TN Class 10 Exams Postponed Again, Check Revised Schedule

The Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Sengottiyan has announced that the Class 10 board exams scheduled from June 1 to 12 have again postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the state. The re-exam for absentees of Class 12 final exam will be conducted on June 18. 

As per the newly released schedule, the TN Class 10 (SSLC) board exams 2020 will be held from June 15 to 25, 2020. 

Earlier, TN SSLC exams were scheduled from March 27 to April 13, which was postponed due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic.
