The Sulh-i-kul idea, which Akbar the Great put into practise, stands for total peace or peace for all. Sulh-i-kul meant that all religions had the right to freedom of speech, but only as long as they didn't try to challenge the legitimacy of the government or engage in conflict with other religions.
