Zakir Memorial College of Education, Pulwama was established in 2005 managed by Zakir Memorial Educational Trust.

The college stands temporarily affiliated with the University of Kashmir for imparting instructions in the B.Ed course.

The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.
