Z. A. Islamia P.G. College (ZAIPGC), Siwan was established in 1971.

Its affiliated to Jai Prakash University, Chapra and recognized by UGC.

The basic aim of this institution was development of the human resource of the region, which was economically backward and geographically isolated. The important aims and objectives of this college are also spread of education amongst the minority communities.

The college offers honours courses in almost all the customary subjects in the arts, commerce and science streams and in total, has nineteen departments.

Z. A. Islamia College is situated at the south east side of the head office of siwan.

The area of the college measures 97,200 square feet. It is square in shape.
