Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE), Mumbai was established in 2005.

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

The Management of XIE is well known for designing its own stringent quality standards for education keeping in view the challenges being imposed on the education sector due to increasing global competition.
