Women Polytechnic College (WPC), Bhubaneswar was established in 1978. The college is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). To empower women of Orissa and assesing the demand of manpower by industries and Organisation , the courses of IT , Civil , Beauty Culture , Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering , Pharmacy and Modern Office Management were introduced. Now the institute has grown in stature and recognised as Orissa's foremost Polytechnic for Women. The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
