Women's College, Tinsukia was established in 1966.

Its affiliated to Dibrugarh University .

with faculties from within as well as outside the college.

The college approached the UGC for the approval of the courses viz; Beautician, pre-primary and primary school teachers training and spoken English have been approved by the UGC.

Presently the college has been offering both the UGC approved and self-financing courses to make the graduates more employable.

These courses have been prepared following the guidelines of the UGC and in consultation with government authorised experts in the respective fields.
